I believe in the power of vaccinations and I believe that everyone is entitled to receive vaccinations regardless of the country you live in.

If vaccinations cause Autism, then why aren't the statistics higher for Autism diagnosis. Granted that the statistics are growing, but maybe it isn't related to the vaccines, but something that is related to the mother's health? Why are we so quick to make judgments then have to retract that information?

Kelli SmithKelli Smithhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14639345621995952389noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1983446907305512807.post-36997037274904243782011-11-30T21:13:26.427-08:002011-11-30T21:13:26.427-08:00This is quite an interesting topic which I had pre...This is quite an interesting topic which I had previous knowledge of, but I had not learned the reasons for which the association was made between autism and vaccines. To be completely candid, I am convinced that the benefit of vaccines outweighs the risks, and I believe that it is most likely linked to the explanation you presented about the correlation between the age of vaccination and the age when autism begins to exhibit its symptoms. I think sometimes people fail to realize that correlation does not imply causation (thanks AP Statistics!) and make incorrect assumptions. How dangerous do you believe it is to avoid vaccines in an attempt to avoid autism? What are other ways people can protect themselves against disease if not vaccines? Moreover, I am interested in connecting this to what you presented in the lecture during class about large companies running agriculture who use dangerous pesticides but disregard health risks because it is harmful towards business. Could this be the case with pharmaceutical companies who manufacture these vaccines? Thanks so much for sharing your knowledge!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1983446907305512807.post-4360077283939349012011-11-29T21:50:18.726-08:002011-11-29T21:50:18.726-08:00I liked how you explained the reason why parents t...I liked how you explained the reason why parents thought autism was created by vaccines because I was wondering how this issue was brought up. Their fears are unsubstantiated and apparently fueled by the media, once again, misleading the American public!Teri Osbornehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02024294698756765650noreply@blogger.com
